Well the rope is 1/4 in x50ft. In watching and reading a few things they recommend not using all 50ft…too long. Use just 40. Well the one I purchased has a hammered clip on one end to screw into hole on barrel of winch and of course the other has loop for hook. So I cant cut 10 ft off then attach to barrel.
