Totten trail is usable, but the lack of the courtesy dock made launching the boat, without damaging it, extra stressful. Wolf creek and east sakawea still 50 to 70% iced over.

Here is a shot of most of the lakes in the area. The snow shows what ice is left out there and from the way it looks most all lakes are open. Screenshot_2016-03-20-13-58-58.jpg

i drove between sak and aud bout 2 hours ago heading to bismarck... kinda strange how one opens up and the other doesn't... must be more dark shallows on the aud side to get the water warming up way faster...

biggest thing i noticed driving today was how low the sloughs were from will to minot to bis, with no snow left... we really need moisture badly... i know devils is bout 1 1/2' down too... no pelican for me this year...

Yep...stopped in at Totten trail last Thursday...was surprised to see all open water...just shockingly low! Until they move over some water to the Audubon side, gotta be real careful if you go out. Maybe the dock will go in this week?

Looks like I know where I'll be breaking in that new engine this week! Sure beats the hell out of doing circles on Nelson for hours!
