My overall favorite is when they point to Wyoming or other states that have “alarmingly decreasing deer numbers” they show graphic pictures of emaciated deer but then leave out facts. Facts such as the worst winter kill in years in south central Wyoming. Or areas with drought like conditions that traditionally affect populations. They fail to leave out studies or highlight areas with a high cwd prevalence yet the deer population is growing. There are quite a few. How is it Brock is able to block and monitor activity for a lobby group during the day when working a state taxpayer funded job? musta took the day off that day…or maybe we need a state DOGE deptartment…..

Not really honestly. Private employment and performance or lack thereof is between the two parties and whatever agreement they have. What you or I think does not matter….. public employees it certainly does matter as every taxpayer has a stake in their productivity…..

When the Trump Administration went after non-profit USAID, it was a rather easy target because it is working offshore. Not easy to defend the money they were giving away. If and when the administration turns in country, the resistance is going to mount.

There were three CWD Bills introduced in ND. Our legislators received a "VOTE NO" letter from Washington DC. Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation with a picture of the Capital on their logo.

The Recovering Americas Wildlife Act. $1.4 Billion of deficit spending. It was introduced 2022 and because there is no mechanism to pay for it, did not move forward. In 2023 ND Game and Fish introduced a Bill for a $2 million dollar appropriation from the General Fund. SB 2017. Part of that was to hire 8 grant writers. They included in the Bill if the Recovering Americas Wildlife Act passes, it could be worth $23 million to the NDGF. The RAWA was reintroduced a second time in spring of 2023. Correlation or coincidence? Failed again so the NDGF didn't hire any grant writers.

On December 17th 2024 the NDGF had a habitat summit. Lots of need, want and desire expressed by sportsmen. Lots of money needed. Rep. Todd Porter (chair of the ND House Natural Resources Committee) was up on the stage part of the forum. Nothing was resolved that night. We have need, want and desire.

Now here comes the correlation or coincidence question? Did anyone know that just 4 days before the NDGF habitat summit, Rep. Debbie Dingell of Michigan reintroduced for the third time, the Recovering Americas Wildlife Act?
