Came back from Mn. yesterday afternoon and about 7 miles east of Steele in the west bound lane on I 94 there were 3-4 motorcycles on their side on the inslope. Couple ambulances there and it didn't look good. Quite a few vehicles were pulled over so don't know if some of them were involved or not.
Nothing on KFYR news last night. We hope no one died and they all fully recover.

I hope everybody was OK. I have heard of 3 other MC accidents over the past week. One dead for sure. One yesterday evening, not sure on the status.

It is that time of year again. Everybody please double check your mirrors and blindspots when switching lanes or making a pass.

and if you ride a bike, be responsible.

At least 2 have died in Fargo this year. One guy liked doing wheelies on I-94.

I heard (not offically) that one of the riders hit a deer. And caused another guy to wreck. The good Lord was protecting them because they are banged up bit alive and should recover.

I sure hope you are right. Didn't see a deer but could have been in the ditch or took off. The scene didn't look real promising either but hope all is well.

I was that guy doing wheelies and riding like a jackass until i was about 24 and had a kid. Slowed me down real quick and eventually got rid of the bike for a pontoon. Life is better now :)

Still hope all turned out well for the riders. The one thing i liked my sport bike for was it's aggressiveness and ability to avoid other drivers..... many people don't look for or don't see motorcycles regardless of size and/or sound.

One thing you should learn is ride like no one can see you, cause that's probably the case. It's even worse now with the morons on their phone non stop.

Fully agree Bacon. Also not many stop at stop signs or red lights. I would say more than half of the ones that i see go through stop signs don't even look for traffic coming. Also way more than half are women. Not saying men don't do the same things but most seem to be the soccer Mom types.
Darn scary riding a bike or in our case a trike. Drive defensively whether on trike or vehicle. Also way too many are in a hurry and driving way over the speed limit in town.

I was returning from Mn yesterday and stopped for gas in Erskine. Heard from the chatter in the c-store that there was a atv accident near Mentor with possible loss of life. GF Herald reports in this mornings paper that 2 people died. Driver and Passenger hit an approach and were thrown from atv. Report said they were both 34yrs old. Sad deal. Be careful out there folks.

Sunday afternoon saw guys riding wheelies on Washington Street in Bismarck. middle of the day. Hot, lots of traffic. not smart. Not to be a hypocrite, because I've done it too, but when a bike and car collide, it's bad. The bike loses, no matter who is at fault.

You can be "in the right". You can also be dead right.
