Same trails is different. The deer are alert and not in a vulnerable position like when they have to put their heads down to feed which gives a coyote an opening. Had entire food plots go dead after a coyote ran the deer off while they were feeding. BTW I hate F'n coyotes!!

Look like I need to get rid of the coyote then. Still weird they are feeding about 200 yards away in the same farmyard. I also haven't had any pictures of the coyote at the feed site the deer stopped coming to. Maybe I will try my luck at trapping.

Yep. I agree. The dynamic between deer and coyotes is mind wrenching. Watching the coyotes and deer play hopscotch with each other to which end of the food plot they are on if it's long and narrow or which food plot they are on when the food plots are 300-400 yards apart. Not only do you have to play the wind, but you now have to play "where are the damn butt sniffing dogs going to be." Happiness is getting a pic of a damn dog dropping a deuce on the corn pile you just put out..........not. Did I mention I hate coyotes? Hope you can figure it out better than I have been. Cuz I just plain suck at trying to decipher it.
