Do the bottle rockets create a hazard, an annoyance, a response??
Interesting Question. I guess ingesting a flaming explosive material into an internal combustion engine propelling an aircraft at 220 mph at 150 feet off the ground that keeps me alive so I can return home to my family would constitute a hazard to me. In the same fashion, having said flammable materials propelled at you by the very people you are trying to help enjoy the summer as well as lessen the chances of them catching west nile virus along with giving us concern about the aforementioned welfare of the aircraft as well as those on board and causing us to alter our course to avoid the area resulting in us having to fly longer in the area to accomplish the same thing whilst costing the taxpayers $8,000 per hour for flight time I'll admit is somewhat annoying to me. As far as a response, it consisted of general displeasure from the entire crew and the overall consensus of WTF......Over?!?!?! Hope that helps!!

Hey Zman, that was my commissioning ceremony when I was first commissioned in the Navy 11 years ago. This is what my uniform looks like now.
