He was a real nice guy just out for a cruise with his old lady ran out of gas tied it off to a tree and went for gas by the time he got back last night it was sunk so he waited for the weather to clear and came to take care of it it wasn't as hard as it looked from a distance had a little mud in the floor but no major damage

Dude probabaly needs to get a much sharper handle on his "beer:gasoline consumption ratio". When going with the wind, you should try NOT to get 18 deep into a 24 before turning around.

waiting for the guy who says my 12' lund mr pike does just fine in the wind... and the bonus you don't need a shower when you get home if you bring some shampoo with

big wind + big water + 2 fat guys... my vote is for that bigger is better scenario

Been watching a sailboat by mallard island today, they are tucked in a little bay waiting the 45mph wind out. Looks like they had issues with their sail. Still have to wonder why someone thought it would be a good day for a sail today..she is choppy out there..

Well, figured they were waiting the wind out but haven't left yet and wind has went down. I called McLean county sheriff and let them know, especially since what happened south of Bismarck recently, just never know. Hopefully all is well, but they may have a long night in front of them! If anyone fishing wolf creek area in the morning, they are on one of the first small bays on the SW side of mallard island. Didn't bring the boat up this weekend.

Might be a long night unless that's the point and they are spending the holiday weekend on their boat.

Is that bay named "booty bay"? because it is now! actually I think you are referring to "dead man's bay"
