How the hell?...I'm ASSuming an ignored circular current and outboard failure/defeat due to water density... My first armchair quarterback solution is the guy aft jamming a push pole into the dam face and turning the bow upstream; maybe the opposite?

My total experience with boats is loading/unloading and annoying the "capt" to catch more fish due to my input. I've never been in a boat with anyone "good": I've been a passenger with a few "luckies" who eventually swallowed ego and improved. :p St. Peter has saved me a from a few fat lips and black eyes.

I don't know a damn thing about trolling. If we were having a bad day; I could analyze the situation and piss off the "Capt": Especially with a caught fish. You Nodaks should study bass tournaments, adapt color/size, vertical jig and catch more fish: Offshore trolling destroys the Earth with exhaust and unnecessarily supports fracking:p :

Sorry; Bud Heavy: Blah blah blah: Stick a pole into the dam and push off(?):
