IMHO that's still not insurmountable if the case. I hope he opened ^^^^ Obi's link. This thread may metastasize and drive the value into a bubble once folks realize the subtext of "whacky" shotgun threads.

That is all.

Oof. I got nothing other than find a cheap replacement stock.

How do it happen - simply recoil related?

If it were mine , I'd block off the safety mechanism and fill in the missing wood with filler and form it and then camo wrap the stock. I know It's not the proper way but it's just how I roll because I enjoy the challenge of fixing things like that.

Or , wood and a dremel tool . I surprised my artless self just when I made a new forearm for an antique single shot 22. It's amazing what a guy can do with a hunk of wood and a dremel kit.

Just an entire new stock is not an option?

Seems somehow that would be available.

I don’t recall exactly what happened. I’m pretty sure stupidity was involved and I have a vague recollection of swinging it like a club at a varmint that was about to tangle with our dog.

Obi posted a eBay link for a replacement. I will probably go that route if I decide to fix it. Maybe fix it and then find it a new home.
