So much for clean air in cali, now a environmental disater, not just smoke but hazardous material burned released into atmosphere.

First maui now cali, like a giant blow torch covered the state.

Curious if and when fema shows up,not long ago fema was tapped out for hurricane relief victims on the east coast 🤔

I would guess Cali, and all their infinite, more than the rest of us wisdom, have an entirely different set of laws, and regulations.
In ND this would not happen that way.

Good to hear the Hollywood elites are going to have the federal taxpayers pick up the cost for the Pacific Palisades fire(s).
that’s how life and the world around us works.

I thought you loved being overtaxed for services provided by the government.

now that the property is worth a fraction of what it was assessed for will they all be getting refunds for over payment on the unrealized gains ?

Drifting the high plains
When my son was alive he surveyed for homes in some liberal communities. They had to fit their homes into their lots around the vegetation because it was against HOA rules to disturb vegetation. Some of this stupidity is at neighborhood level, some at County, much at state, and even the federal water rights contributes to it.
The insurance companies I don't blame. I would not insure a house with ten foot dry desert chaparral up against it. The fault lies squarely with pseudo environmentalist makeing building rules and water regulations.

The insurance industry is pushing back after Vice President Kamala Harris suggested insurance companies have canceled the policies of victims of California's wildfires, calling her claim "false, wrong and dangerous."
