People who can remember the weather from previous years always amaze me. Remember the winter of 1993? Hell, I can hardly remember what the weather was like last week. Have never figured out a way to remember weather from previous years. Then again, maybe they're talking BS and I don't have any knowledge to argue with. I have never figured out why I would ever need to know that information either.

I can remember when a tornado went through, when we had a blizzard that closed school for 3 straight days, when we had 10+ inches of rain in a two day period; but the year they happened? Don't have a clue. Don't know if I'm envious or just wonder "why would anyone remember that useless information."

looks like there is going to be some spotty big rain totals out west today - another case where the storms are just sitting in place almost - "percolating" in place on the radar loop - strange

Remember the summer of 93 was cold and wet and we had it good compared to the area along the Mississippi River were they had the huge floods that year. Easy to remember because it was the year the big drought broke and the potholes started coming back and delves lake started going batch crazy.

Those people were probably outside so thus noted the fact fargo has had winds above 20 MPH sustained on 15 days from July 11th to Aug 11th with a half doz other days in the upper teens and gust to 30. There were three days in there with winds over 30 with one at 36 gusting well into the 40's.

Thats because Fargo sucks.................or is it blows!!!!:;:stirthepot::boxing::;:;rofl

April, May and June are always windy as hell. Then July, August and September it is usually calmer.

the oddness continues here in Fargo

dead calm again today - slow moving rain cells last night - bizarre

we'll be up to our ears in mosquitoes soon if this crap keeps up

down in SE ND they are doomed for a huge skeeter hatch - we're on the northern edge of the last few drenching rains
