I believe I'd just be happy throwing jerkbaits and big Texas rigged plastics in the surf. I'd carry all the gear down there except for the rod which I'd buy on location.

Pisces in Cabo is good, have used several charters in cabo, My go to charter is REDRUM, they are owned by a guy from Minnesota, they have several boats, and I just got a email that they have a new boat. Its a 78 footer ! Love Cabo never have gone out with out catching fish.

Just an fyi also you can NOT carry surf rods back to the U.S.!!!!! I was short on time to go and recheck last year I lost my surf rod at check point. you CAN carry them , but would have to pay for them as a checked bag 75 $$$ in my case. I had 12ft telescopic rod that would not fit in luggage. buddies had 11ft that did. Surf fishing is a blast!!
