For those of you who want to fish it enjoy, but every tribe in this state made a support statement for the Standing Rock protest and if you don't think you as a NoDakan have no dog in this fight, think again. If the state is not able to recover the 40 million that was spent to deal with that situation is a big part of the fight we all have in that, our tax money will be gone. Also even though you may not live in proximity of the protests it still effected the entire state by drawing resources away from you are that could have been there to save lives or property. there is a lot of possibility to look deeper and understand how this effects us all. I am local to the protests, was involved in the support of LE and NG and seen the toll it on the personnel involved and if you don't consider there involvement a sacrifice then you definitely don't understand the totality of the situation and probably never will. As for the donating to tournaments, when I did fish tournaments I had no problem not cashing if I didn't catch what was need to compete for the money places but if the structure or group running the tournament wasn't fair and even and I didn't place because of there inadequacies if would never ever give them a future investment. This tourney would have a double reason for me not to fish it, There support for the protest and screwing it up in the past. I have given up on tournaments and now cherish relaxing when I can make it out fishing. If you choose to fish these and support them more power to you and enjoy. There is nothing that will be able to get me to support anything tied to a Native casino or Reservation in this state for the rest of my breathing years, and that is my personnel choice. I am not prejudice, but against the hypocritical stand of the tribes on oil and such , and will not support anything with the tribes. Sorry for the Rant but feel people have pretty short memories in these area, enjoy your weekend. dukgnfsn
