Has anybody had t-mobile recently around bisman area? I currently have verizon and with the increase in my bill I am looking for a change. Curious if its as reliable as verizon and what coverage is like traveling around the state? TIA!

We are down to just 3 phones on our plan, and believe the bill is still well over $200, mrs johnr pays it, but think it is in the $250, and that is pure insanity.

So the off name carriers that use the big name towers throttle your internet and it is possible they dont allow calls to go through if thier tower os being used for example by all verizon customers. I cant have either one..i need all the internet i can get and i absolutely can not have a call be missed so I have to stay with big carrier. I know it can still happen but its less likely. At&t is a no go as I have used them before and thier cell coverage in the state is not near what Verizon is thats why i am curious about t mobile. Verizon wants a premium price which i am willing to pay for but i feel there service they offer isnt a premium service.

I have been with Tracfone forever. I feel I have good service for what I pay plus I am not a big user . If I don't use all my minutes etc , they carry over . I get 1500 minutes -talk. 1500-texts. and 1.5G data. Have enough banked I can probably never use it all . I pay 125. a YEAR

I have never ever had any issues ever with internet or a call going through with the so called off name carriers. Have used for a decade.

Straight Talk thru Walmart $37.68/ month unlimited. Have never had an issue

Tracfone actually owns Straight Talk. My wife has it because of the unlimited and pays about the same as wslayer

Wife and I have had Consumer Cellular for like 4 yrs now. Been mostly happy and would recommend to others that basically only use for talk/text. Think it's like $90 for 15gb of data and unlimited talk and text. Don't think we have ever get close to the 15 gb. We are a boring lot! lol. Got rid of the land line years ago.

U don't want to go with tmobile if you're outside of any bigger city esp in nodak! At&t works better than Verizon up here and all throughout the area we hunt and fish, don't ask me how I know..
Buy an unlocked phone and go with cricket or straight talk.. Cricket uses at&t (gsm) network and u can choose cdma (Verizon) or AT&T with straightalk.
Never heard of any throttling or calls not going through being on "prepaid" in nodak.. Networks not even close to ingested enough in north dakota. Worked att corporate for over a decade.

I stay with Verison due to E. end Sak. coverage. Especially Douglas Bay and Hazen bay area. I am wondering if other carriers are any good in these areas. Thanks.

That's strange I have been with Verizon for 7 years same plan 87 dollars unlimited data and talk text.plus and a 10 dollar digital secure because I once had my phone hacked. 97 and change

Same here ,always have coverage with verizon towers. I wish I could hotspot to laptop but I can't can't, I'm not sure if it's the carrier or the phone that doesn't allow it.
