CHS hazing

Does this article make any sense to anyone? So this happend 18 years ago but it then says he waited 3 years to file the suit yet by my math that puts us in Christmas of 02 not fall of 17! This whole setup seems pretty messed up.

Well this sucks, either way.

I'd guess that it should read "Luke Mizeur, THEN 18.."

If this happened, and I'd guess it did, since the two parties had been negotiating, that tough for this young man. I can't imagine that what happened "bettered the team".

Not to mention if this happened to a young man, think what might have happened to those cheerleaders.

If this didn't happen, then it would seem to be a grab for money.
Either way, this sucks.

This kids lucky he didn't get hazed in 70's or 80's. I'm against hazing of this sort as I was a victim, in fact I always got it worse. Upper classmen were always jealous of the headlines I got in wrestling, and I paid for it in track and football.

These kind of shenanigans are pretty common. I've been hazed more than once, never botherd me as it was part of being welcomed or farewell send off. Yeah, it's pretty stupid sometimes but it still goes on especially college sports. Definitely some weird shit going on. We used to have some very hard-core hazing in the military. I think most of that tomfoolery has stopped now. Some of the more funny ones were guys being duck taped to a chair with wheels. Every kind of food and fluid is then stuffed in ears nose mouth etc. usually some hot sauce was involved. And last a good hosing down with a nice cold water hose. Then the fella is wheeled out to the road so passersby get a look and laugh. I'm not condoning it, but I lived through with no hard feelings towards anybody. We all did it to each other

If you ask me the guys a dumbass he has been leading this on for 15 years it's possibly finally going to court he has been offered numerous settlements and denies everyone he just wants publicity so what a few classmates seen his little Weiner and he got ashamed get over it he quit wrestling and school blames it on the event I say grow up you little b****.....

Shit that's disgusting behavior especially if it is true to what he said happened, I mean sexual harassment is much different that getting thrown into a locked locker missing practice , getting a swirly with a big log still in the bowl, tied up with your own shoe laces then having someone's dirty smelly socks taped to you face with athletic tape, getting icy hot rubbed in your jock strap, getting hit on the helmet as you run down the bus aisle. BUT dealing with another mans junk that would of never been thought of 20 years ago especially the wrestling team. I guess these guys needed to get laid more and stop playing grab ass

Not sue why this would be trending as this article was 15 years ago. I was at CHS at the time it happened. Hazing was not uncommon. However, hazing and sexual assault are two different things. Imagine if that was a girl in the back of the bus made to strip down naked below the waste and fondled. That would be sexual assault, but because it's a boy it's called hazing? If they allegations are true, that is just disgusting.

Not quite sure where you went to school but this doesn't sound like your typical hazing " stripped him naked from the waist down, sexually assaulted him " Back in my school days boys didn't sexually assault other boys but apparently in your school it was not big deal. Maybe it is not about the money and he wants the people responsible for this to be punished and humiliated like he was. If there was any legal ramification back then it sounds like it was a slap on the wrist but since they were minors nobody knows. By the article It looks like the guys continued to wrestle so their punishment couldn't have been that severe.

All I know If someone ever commits legitimate pain and anguish to one of my kids in those regards, ill be the first mother fucker in jail. Everyone else will be in the hospital

and to add to that if its my kid that's committing the act they they'll be in the hospital and ill still be in jail!
