A colleague from Winnipeg has one. Granted their infrastructure is different than us. He made the drive to Edmonton in the winter. He was cautious, charged accordingly, and wasn't concerned of power. Each field stop was about an hour to recharge. He also made the drive to Minneapolis with a similar experience.
I could see getting one eventually if I lived in a city and rarely traveled more than 50 miles at a time. But I don't ever plan to move to a city and make numerous 300+ mile one way trips. However, I did rewire my boat today and am now running lithium!

I was in florida and avout the same. Was amazed how many were in a parking lot.
