Anyone know why there’s brown trout in Big Detroit, and if there’s still some in there?

If my memory hasn't gone to mush, I think there was a fish exchange years ago between Colorado/Wyoming and Minnetucky of trout for walleye fingerlings or some such. I believe they put the trout into the lakes where they took the walleye eggs from and Detroit was one of them. They put them in all kinds of lakes. I think the state park near Pelican Rapids also got some. Could be wrong though. I have no clue on the channel catfish though.

Thank you, I heard someone say they spawn in a creek over there but they haven’t netted one since the 70s
