ice free?totally?
Lake Region Search and Rescue has one of their main fundraisers regarding this each year( those of you that fish the lake should at least partake). They put a junked out car on the ice.out near east bay boat ramp..and have a contest..guessing what day, hour, minute and second it drops in the lake..and no worries any of you lake litter police..they retrieve the car on a diving training excercise

I can't remember being on DL in Apr in a boat very often. When I have been, I've been outfished by shore fishermen.

In the past 4-5 years or so, I've been in the boat first week in April and on the ice first week in May. I'm guessing this year will be like most others and will be in the boat sometime in between that range.

You could have fished the whole April in 2012 out the boat.

March 28 of that year is when I had my boat in DL. Cant remember if the whole lake was open but all of six mile was.

April 19th I was all over DL last spring. Had to idle through some huge slush fields but had good fishing.

I love lamp that much i can tell ya.

lamp
verb; "to lamp;" To hang out, do nothing and smoke marijuana. Term can be explained by the inherent duites of a lamp: lamps stay in one place and light up (get it?)

Commonly used in the form: "lamping" (or lampin')

See lampin' or lampin for other definitions.

What're you doing today?
Nothin', gonna chill at home and lamp

:;:huh
:;:smokin :;:chillpill ;:;popcorn
