Devils lake striped bass?

So I knew of 4 stripers caught in Devils Lake 3 on hook and line and 1 in G&F net at Black tiger(the largest if I remember) 2 were caught in east bay same general area about a year apart and the last largest at 57 bridge by shore fisherman.
I believe an accidental release of about 12,000 fry is why they were in DL.
Like gonefshn,I'm old but spent a bit more time in that certain little baitshop.

Do you guys remember the old bait shop in the 70s-80s at grahams island when the two older brothers owned it ? That was a fun bait shop and the older guys loved to visit over a cup of coffee . A guy should have been taking pictures.

The bait shop was about the size of a single car garage right by the old zeback pass road they were open year around.

Would be nice if the gnf would bring in some bluegils to devils lake,.according to the pdf, the bluegill were abundant when devils lake was at a lower lake level. Bluegill are damn fine table fare
