On Thursday afternoon we docked at the State Park near Pick City and since the wind was southerly, we boated across to Douglas Bay. 30 minutes later the wind went calm. We were pulling BBs and was graphiing fish in 18 fow but no bites. Eventually I decided to slide shallower and immediately started catching in 10-12 fow. The rod with a propellor spinner and half a crawler boated way more fish than a plain slow death. Eventually we spot locked and pitched a 1/4 oz jig and crawler and that caught too. Kept our 10 eaters, most between 15-17”. Wind eventually blew a little out of the north. I packed 2 dozen crawlers but discovered 1 dozen was frozen. Good thing we were using halves.
