Seems early to be seeing fawns. I almost stepped on one two days ago just a few feet into some tall grass in the yard I backed out and it was still there , told my wife to go take a quick picture and not hang around but it was gone by the time she got there. Could be that the doe came and got it right away when I left.

Yesterday I was turning around with a trailer and backed about a foot into some tall grass saw one in the mirror jump up and run. I'm used to seeing newborn right around Fathers day, I can set my clock to it and they are still so young that they would lay there and get run over. Hope it's that way all over, some years they are late and get run over with haying equipment. Might be a good crop of fawns.
