Fargo Police Officer Shot

In case you haven't heard yet, a police office was shot in Fargo last night. I have heard mixed reports about his status but none of them sound good. Please keep our law enforcement officers in your thoughts today.

KX News is reporting. According to the Fargo Police Chief the wounds are not survivable.

The fallen officer's Dad works with my wife and his Mom works in the lunch room of our daughter's school, very sad day in the community.

One of my good buddies lives next to the house that got shot up. Said the guy was really nice. Offered to borrow tools all the time. Was a generally good neighbor. Strange, strange deal.

My friend and his family are actually stuck in their house today as the police investigate what went on. He texted me last night when a flash-bang grenade went off beside his garage. I just thank God none of the crossfire hit their home. They have a 1.5-year old. Thankfully he's probably way too young to remember why they had to spend the night in the basement.
