Fished Darling - Spillway area this afternoon. Found 4 to 5 inches in most places...but as always...be safe!

Last night should have locked some new water up and put more ice on anything already frozen, zero degrees and calm in most places. Ill be punching holes and rippin lips this weekend. I should probably winterize my boat first though.

^ Hopefully tomorrow's warm up won't do too much damage to the ice we've already gotten. Fri/Sat temps look pretty good again for ice.

Last night OAHE skinned over for the first time this year!! The bays were already froze over for a week, but last night was the first time the lake went solid. It may break open, it usually does once or twice before staying solid, but with the temps we've been having, it may be enough to hold.

This was right at Fort Yates.

The warm up I saw in the forecast shouldn’t hurt it too bad. I worry about highs 50+ and lows above freezing where I would worry about ice. If the forecast holds I may be driving 4 wheeler on during thanksgiving break
