Fishing scent

I bought a little bottle of fishing scent many years ago and tried it a few times, I don't think it made any difference at all . Have you tried any and had sucess with it ? Is it a seasonal thing where it works better at times than others ? Or does it catch more shoppers than fish ?

It should be called fish scent mess in a bottle. No matter how careful you are, you WILL make a stinky mess with that stuff. I avoid it as much as possible, but I'm trying this pork stuff and that's in a juice so we'll see how it goes.

I've never attributed success to a fish scent... But I've heard pros claim water temp does help it... The colder the better

The boy and I used to call it "Super Secret Spray".

I WILL attest I've turned follows into strikes by securing a gob of Trout Powerbait Paste behind the lip of a Shallow ShadRap below the Darling Dam.

I bought a bottle once and that is the last time. I had it get crushed and explode in my tackle box.

The scent spray, not a big believer. That Berkeley goo will catch trout faster than you can take them
off the hook on the right days.

i use BANG pure anise. i do use it alot and seem to catch more fish than my buddy who fishes next to me... but i think the main reason i use it is to say "im just gonna spray some anise on my plastic"

or "my anise smells like black licorice"
