I don't know where you drew a tag for, but 90+ % of bears In Mn are used to fryer grease.
If I were you, I'd try and track down the stuff fish/chicken is in fried in.
Not just regular everyday used grease.

We use to get stuff from SweatHeart bakery in Bismarck old outdated bakery years ago they are closed now and get hold of gas stations that deep fry chicken most have company come around pick up some have grease collections contaniers.

I'd stop by Runway Express down by the airport. They sell a TON of deep fried goodies (chicken, corndogs, etc). They should have a relatively large container of used grease. Never hurts to ask.

we are looking for enough grease to attract a bear. considering those animals can smell a country marathon, i would think one good fish fry worth would be plenty. no?
