I was lucky enough when I was a kid to see a wildlife box up close, the game warden which was a good man he name was Chuck Pulver and was the game warden in the Pembina gorge area as well as an advocate for wildlife habit conservation. He died in 1995 of a hear attack while on duty, he and his wife had an animal sanctuary where people could bring them animals that were injured and they would bring them back to health if they could.
