And for some odd reason we can sell to others but cant produce enough for ourselves

I believe we produce and refine enough for ourselves, but because it’s a world market, it’s being sold at a huge premium elsewhere.
The avg American is paying for this dynamic

Here’s what doesn’t make sense. We refine more diesel in this state than we could use. The shipping costs to ND retail pumps is miniscule. Yet we are paying more at the pump for diesel than places that are probably 1000 miles from the nearest diesel refinery. Think there isn’t massive profit in the retail sector of fuel and gas?

The whole gas/diesel deal (& OPEC) is a massive scam/rip-off to the American consumer.

I don’t think so. I believe there is at least 6 diesel refineries now.
