Swung through Menards in Moorhead and they had this little number on sale for $50 after a $10 mail-in-rebate. They were on display right by the registers. Sale lasts through April 14, I believe. I'm heading back to pick one up tonight so I can verify, if anyone is interested.

I think their deep cycle marine batteries were $70 last year too. Not sure of the quality.

As long as you don't plan to run your electronics off it and it is only for starting it is probably a good deal, starting batteries seem to not last that long when used for deep cycle purpose, multi purpose or a true deep cycle is best for running graphs and starting.

And your motor starts with M or Y. If it starts with E - your charging system is far superior and if make any type of short run you have your battery up to full power / you can buy what you want.

Lincoln, kinda...
For comparison's sake, I just put a new $114 interstate starting battery in my boat last week.

I was kind of pressed for time so I will chalk the extra $60 up to the cost of getting back on the water and #$%^&>.
