As I grow older I find myself more interested in toting a "Red Ryder" than a howitzer. Thankfully, I'm still partial to "open" as opposed to slow-assed target gd peep sights. I don't give a green fuck about "ghost". Field shooting (not sniper) is about shotgun technique. And "better" accomplished with a scope.

The red dot is another shit hole; maybe worse than peep.
