1" exact, 3mi north of Bismarck. A welcomed sight, for sure!

Local newscast stated 0.77", but that is captured at the airport south of town.

I looked in my rain gauge this morning and had a nice 1.4 inches of water. Sweet, I am now up to about 2.5 inches for the summer.

I suppose 2.5 inches for Summer is all some of you normally provide, but I'm accustomed to working with a little more.

1.3 inches. The grass is almost as green as the thistles.

Little cloud came over Thursday afternoon about 3:30 and dumped another 1/2 inch. Down pour wasn't over a mile wide, just have to be in the right place at right time.

Figured out how to make it rain. Watered the garden yesterday and left the boat out in the yard with the cover off and now its coming down like a cow peeing on a flat rock. Better than a rain dance and the boat will dry, needed a wash anyway.

How about tonight Rowdie? The blue clouds missed Bismarck.

Checked the gauge this morning and there was 1/4 inch. It kind of dissipated before it got here, but it looked like Mobridge got some rain. I would say there could be another decent cut of hay for a lot of guys around here. Might make up for the first crappy cut, IDK though. I'll say this, this drought isn't near as bad as the one 11-12 years ago.

Holy titty sprinkles, been down pouring with lightning and thunder for 45 minutes to an hour here at Fort Stevenson. Lightning was so close that I cranked the tv antenna down on the camper. Trying to smoke ribs and cook them on the BBQ in a down pour sucks.Ended up putting on my Scheels rain gear to take 2 dogs to go bathroom out side and cook. Rain is nice but man almost needed floaties to be outside.IMG_1177.jpg
