I pulled spinners for big bluegills today and it worked.

I have not had a chance to give er the ol college try yet. This weekend should change that.

I have noticed the Motorguide head is mounted with the head WAY forward on the shaft - if I leave the trolling motor in and move to a new spot at 5mph with the outboard the xi5 rotates to sideways if not a little rear-facing - without the skeg. WTF

The MinnKota never did that. That does not bode well for the skeg.
