I have a friend who had a 300 h&h built. We tend to give each other a lot of crap over whose is better, my win mag or his h&h. I will say that his rifle has always surprised me in accuracy and velocity of what that round is capable of with new powders and pushed a little harder. But i still give him crap about it being weak and old with a funny tapered case and i tend to have to listen to him bad mouth my short necks and belted case on the win mag. The h&h is a nice classic especially in a wood stock with beautiful bluing of the metal parts.
