mrs johnr has it figured out so I don't have to.

but I have had on occasion had to handle the boiling and such of my own eggs, and Mother Fucker if that shell doesn't stick about every time.
A patient man will slowly pick it off and get about 90% of the shell off without the egg sticking to it, I however end up with a garbage disposal full of smashed up eggs, and my blood pressure at max pressure.

There is absolutely no substitute for easily peeling eggs other than to let them age within a week of expiration. You could cook em any damn way you want and they will peel just fine.

The young lady in line in front of me at Wally World this morning had a couple of gallons of milk, 2 dozen eggs, amongst a few other items. I jokingly asked her if she had an armed escort to her car with that high dollar merchandise. No shit! was the reply. ...muahaha...

I do mine in the pressure cooker, 1/4 cup water, with my pressure cooker 5 minutes on steam, 5 minutes in cooker after steam, release pressure and into the ice bath for 5. I have a Pressure Cooker XL. May have to adjust time a minute one way or other to your model but works good for me

A few years back, I found a recipe for smoked deviled eggs so I made them. It had a somewhat spicy yolk mix and they were probably the best deviled eggs I've ever had.

I use miracle whip, onion powder, garlic powder and Lowerys seasoning salt for my deviled eggs and never had any complaints. Not a fan of mustard or paprika. LB

Tried the baking method last night and not sure I like it. Got a few "burn" spots on the whites. Maybe cooked too long or my oven runs hotter then the dial? Just cosmetic, seems to be way simpler then boiling might keep experimenting.

Pressure cooker is a game changer for hard bold eggs.

Yeah theres literally no mess and it’s easy as hell. I’d say sometimes the tray may turn out a bit different I feel like it depends on the eggs. Maybe age has something to do with it, maybe it’s the oven…not sure. Just how we’ve been doing eggs for years.

Could depend on the location of the oven rack.
A rack close to the bottom of the oven will be hotter (closer to the heating element) than a rack at the top of the oven. (farther away from the heat source)
