Have had three 2 stroke Detroit diesels run away on me over the years of working on them. That will pucker things real fast standing next to one that keeps climbing and climbing in rpms until one can get them choked down.;;;;;;;;:;boozer

Why put a u-joint on an auger? ha ha. I have had some stuck throttles on the old Jiffy's when you punch through and you let off the gas and it keeps piling water up into your fish house/feet until you flip the off switch. I watched a guy with a frozen throttle on a big 10 inch Jiffy soak himself from the crotch down(it took a while to figure out to flip the switch).
