SE ND.
Pembina county has gotten over 9 just in the month of June
I think my place saw .9 in the month of June.
Might be a little more actually but you sure can't tell, I mowed maybe 2 times at 3.5in high and everything looks like its August. Beans don't look very impressive yet and the pastures are hanging in there but they aren't great.
Talk about feast last year and borderline famine this year

Drove past DL on #2 yesterday and ditches/culverts were flowing at full capacity in some areas. Any guesses on how much it will bring up the lake level ?

Question.

What has happened to most in today's society that they can't take the heat? 🤷‍♂️

When I grew up, there was no air conditioning in the house, we opened window at night and used fans. No misters were set up so people could cool down, no free ice, no cooling shelters.

Maybe went to the pool or lake on a hot day was the extent of us getting cooled down.

Don't shoot the guy asking the question, just curious on why this has changed over the years.

Most homes built since 1990 or so come with A/C central air built in. 40 years ago, the houses I lived in were built in the 50's without such amenities. Just think what would happen if the cell phones suddenly stopped working. 75% of the people born after 1995 would die of mental breakdown because they lost tik tok, foolsbook, and youtube.

Anyone else got a bad case of Swass?
Fanny Fungus, Rump Rot, Peter Prickles, Crotch Rot, Ass Itches......There are so many names, but swass is a new one for me. Every trooper in Afghanistan that left the wire had all of the above at one time or another. They all SUCK!!!!! However, I am currently not suffering from any of them.

A heat stroke did it for me. Before that I used to love the hot summer days , not any more.

Hasn’t even been hot yet really. Surface temp on main Lake Sak just W of Pick City was 63 degrees a couple days ago…that’s pretty cold for just days before the 4th.
