Hotspot GB

I'm going to need hotspot in the near future so looking for guesses about how many GB it would take per month to run a laptop, an Ipad, both checking emails and online shopping for 1 hour each per day plus one hour of youtube per day on TV ? Would 20 GB cut it ? The minutes carry over so not all bad, just wondering what would be a close estimate.

Nope..i go through 30gb pretty quickly. Streaming video sucks down the bandwith pretty quick. I travel a large amount for work/work from the boat fishing as well and my 30 gigs is up usually about halfway through the month. I have verizon and have been looking at tmobile who offers a little more i believe it was 50 gigs hotspot for about the same price. The problem with that is do they have similar coverage? Nobody seems to really know....but to answer question it is not enough for me at 30gigs. One hour of you tube at 720p would take about 2 gigs.. Disclaimer..nothing posted above was said to insult and or be condescending so please dont take it as such....

Tmobile does have a plan with unlimited mobile hotspot that is reasonable...the only questiin would be the service...i may roll the dice on it.

I have T-Mobile and use hotspot allot it's not as good as Verizon but it does the job I had the dragon mobile unit with Verizon I had Internet everywhere but since switching I use my phone and I noticed emails take a lot longer to send and receive and you tube hard on most oil sites

How is the signal out west(guessing you are out west?) What plan do you have with t-mobile?

T-Mobile is working on a starlink system. When that is fully up and running (they're beta testing), I'm gonna look hard and might go that route. A great thing about the lake is cell phones work bad. However, id like to be able to get some Internet to stream movies in the camper and maybe I could do a little remote work from time to time and extend the trip.

Wasnt the starlink for texts only? Would be sweet if it included data for streaming!
