Hunting Reports

So, I realize that most people don't want to report good hunting spots, and/or where they are seeing their trophy's. I still believe that a form of hunting reports would be neat. Perhaps something slightly different would be more active. Maybe something where people can post stories and pics of their successful hunts.

maybe a tips and tricks - info to help others out if they find a trick or tip that works well for them.

Could maybe brake it down into regions of the state. Some may find it helpful for deer movements in a particular area or how the bird numbers are in another, waterfowl migration etc. Might help also if one was required to be a member to view the thread, not just someone trolling the site for info.

I like the idea of members only viewing any type of migration report. I think a huge reason nodakoutdoors.com and the likes went dead is because people like myself and others who put in a lot of time and money got sick of posting information meant to help but instead got a migration of OOS'ers to a certain area or location because of all the cyberscouting by some twink sitting 500 miles away in a downtown office somewhere.

maybe theres a way to "earn" your way into a group or forum in which info can be shared amongst people where there is somewhat of a trust or "agreement" established among the group of privaledged members. like hell am I going to post anything about where I have been pounding the birds to an open forum where any tom, dick or sconi can read what I post. . . . Hunting buddies that can KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT are very few and far between. I have learned to work my way into hunting with somebody. I have three guys that I call up when I find a HOT HOT HOT hunting spot, maybe four, but that is for specific species, and they know who they are. I've shown up at too many hunting spots only to find "My new friend and 6 of his closest acquaintances already there.

I've had the idea of a App or Site feature where you'd GPS in Sconi or Minns license or boat# for a MINNASCONI Report.

Yup, rare indeed. Hunted with 4 other guys mostly and we all had our own places and if I wasn't hunting my field, nobody else was either. Hands off my wife and feet off my hunting spot.
