Negative. Well yes...grudgingly: STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE LEFT LANE IT IS NOT FOR CRUISING. I don't know how Camaro guy dicked that maneuver (of which I don't approve) Other than a hazard of sort, there's NO reason one should have to pass in the driving lane and a similar wreck could have happened well back due to congestion and impatience. Let the speeders have at it to get busted. KEEP the damn left lane clear. Dude with dash cam is an effing idiot also. Almost feeling like KDM now.

DON'T RACE THE DRIVER IN THE PASSING LANE. It's not a contest. You are being overtaken for a reason. If you feel inadequate, allow the pass to happen, allow a proper reactionary gap then match the speed which makes you whole again. Cruise control is your friend on the highway. If someone catches your draft, and is having a hard time passing without speeding; be a pal and tap your brake or hit the minus button allowing your fellow driver freedom to pass and establish a safe gap. If you are the passer, maintain your freaking speed and get the hell up the damn road. If you need to be on the gd phone, use cruise control, hands free or stay the hell off of it. For the life of me, I can't see how it's different talking on the phone than to a passenger. The damn things seem to suck brains through them. A little courtesy and responsibility will give us all a safe and fun driving experience.

Dashcam guy: it's hard to say if he was "cruising" in the passing lane (which is kind of a dick move too), or just working at getting around the semis

As much as Camaro guy looks like a total tool, I'm more irritated with pickup guy. It's one thing to be an impatient idiot and make stupid maneuvers in your ego-extension on wheels, but purposely doing something like that is how road rage shootings happen.
