That is awesome. Great write up. My family has been out to Idaho a couple of times. I have yet to go. But I likely will in the next couple of years.

I have an uncle that lives there and works for the g&f. He bagged a monster this year. Took him 6 days to pack it out by foot. 7 miles in. 7miles out.

Wow. That's motivation. Holy shi'ite.

Yes but they have managed them hard. 35 bucks gets you a tag and we say two piles of wolf crap and talking to the locals the packs have been thinned down and elk numbers have been going up.

Did heat a mountain lion scream during the hike out one night that was cool and scary all at the same time
