This evidently did not work out! Corey Roth did not meet with the Grant County Commissioners on Tuesday March 1st to make a deal with the Grant County Commissioners to mediate this issue. Reports also say that the county does not want to get involved in this dispute! He will also not work with the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA), which manages the lake because of a long time feud with some of the members according to sources. If he pays for and builds the road himself it must meet state and county standards before the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA), the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) and the Grant County Sheriff's Department entertain keeping the campground open. Since the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA) no longer manages the campground at Koehlers Point this entire issue is moot at this time and the campground will not be opened for camping this 2016 season. At the monthly meeting of the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA) in Carson, ND on Wednesday March 2, 2016 a proposal was discussed about how to resolve this issue and will be submitted to the Roths as a final gesture of cooperation to possibly keep it open. If the Roths accept this proposal the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) will turn over management back to the Tri-Cities Joint Job Development Authority (TCJJDA) and the public will be able to camp there provided all of the provisions in the proposal are met by the Roths.
