Aaron, I might be in the market for a second pole (if its a brew city). However, if you have a recommendation for a setup that goes on a terrova, I'm all ears. seems like cornfield crappies is about the only one out there making a mount for non-cable driven motors.

No great ideas for your issue. That is the reason I bought a new Ultrex Quest this week to replace a perfectly good Power Pole Move. The move a Terrova style deploy. I want to run a turret off of the trolling motor for FFS which is not supported by the Terrova style.

Yes, I "may" be replacing the Brew City for my wifes graph in the back of the boat. Im moving my pole mount to the rear for her; but need to make sure she likes it before selling the Brew City.

Pole vs trolling motor. Terrova. Corn overpriced too and looks like weed mania. Hmmm.

They know what they want for those too. Good grief.

I placed an order for the HD Innovations new mount to try. It looks similar to the old summit/ram mount except the HD mount has a pin to keep the pole from moving on the ram arm. Claims it will hold going up to 8mph. I will post back once it arrive & I test it out on the river.

I apparently wasn't fast enough on ordering one once they finally hit the website.

Aaron,
Curious why you are changing to a separate turret instead of leaving it on the shaft of the trolling motor? Are you spot-locking quite a bit and that's the reason?

I do spot lock quite a bit. Also, pitching windblown shorelines it is easier to have a separate turret. Next boat will have 1 on the shaft in perspective mode and 1 on turret in forward view.

My new boat is supposed to be built in the next 3 weeks and will have it on the trolling motor shaft. I am hoping I like it if not I may have to add a turret next year. I currently have a bundle with a pole that I use now which now will be the second one in the boat for partners.

I was finally able to get out & try the new HD Innovations pole mount system. The thing is Legit!!! Way better than the old summit style mount. The locking pin setup keeps the pole from twisting like the old summit one, plus the pole is still collapsible so it doesn't take up too much space in the boat when not using it. We trolled at 3mph with the transducer in the water turned perpendicular & the pole didn't move at all. I mounted the HD ball mount to this ram mount so I can still move the pole any where in the boat or even switch it between boats. I was very impressed.

Been out probably 15 times this month, left the ffs at home, going old school style. No side scan either just gps and depth while running, haven't used anything to look for fish. Probably the most fun and successful spring fishing I've ever had. Funny when others come along and are like..wtf? And we proceed to have another awesome day!😊
I do have the stowaway graph mount with extra base plates on the other boats for ffs but haven't used it much.
