Wondering what to look for in long sleeves sun shirts. Brands/colors/material ?
There are a ton of options out there. None of which are cotton based. Huk, SA, Palmyth, and a myriad of other Chinglish-named brands.
The Huk, SA (which I can no longer find) and Palmyth are my favorites.
You can even get them with hoods, which I don't particularly like. But then again, I am just not a hoodie kind of guy.
As far as materials, they all tend to be light-weight polyester.
When I was young, I just hated wearing long-sleeved shirts. Mostly because back then the only real options were heavy weight cotton or non-stretch western style long sleeve shirts. Today's UPF shirts are quite comfortable.
Note, for whatever reason I no longer buy the off the shelf inexpensive ones from Walmart or Sam's club. Not sure who they use for their sizing charts, but I just have never had good luck with fit from those places.

Since you are likely buying this to be outside, I'd say stay away from the dark colors, but I do like patterns on them to help hide stains from bleeding fish, etc.
Post em up with prices then.Think those SA brand came from gander mountain and I bought at least 15-20 or the long sleeve ones when they went out of business.. Still have a bunch with tags
