need a brimmed cap under the hood or a hood will drive you nuts

long sleeves and a hood pretty much eliminates the need for greasy stupid SP50 sunscreen - what a blessing!

The Skwala SOL Hoody... awesome comfortable, side pockets are deceptively nice and the impregnated bug deterrent is a really nice added feature... really nice.

I'm not overly impressed with the sizing and fit of Huk. My favorite is a DH Custom baits shirt with the hood. I've never looked to see what brand of shirt it is, but I love it. Its not the current orange ones he sells, but the older light blue one.... must've had it for 5 years now.

I’m not a hoody guy, but have many other fishing shirts. My favs are button down collar shirts from Sims or Orvis, and light Marino wool in a pullover (tshirt of vs long sleeve)

Go on Temu or Aliexpress and they have them all at a 10th of the price. just type "fishing shirt" into the search bar. Pelagic Gear, HUK, Billfish Gear, Abu Garcia etc... I own maybe 25 of them and they're all made of the right material and sized right. I've had maybe 2 show up that were too big or too small, but at 10-20 bucks each I just gave them away, not worth returning.

the only difference is an American company buys the same chinese shit and sells it to you in America for 10 times the price. I'm not paying a hundred bucks for a shirt that'll be covered in blood, slime, & worm guts the first time I wear it. I pay enough to this country in taxes, I don't need to pay quintuple inflated prices on misc. shit just because its on this side of the border.
