Cranes lifted this up over the weekend by the Broadway bridge. Interesting find. I would think its been there a while. Several lowhead dams in town would be impossible to even have launched this baby unless it was from 2011 flood timeframe when water was way above the dams. Thoughts?
Almost looks like a fiberglass hull.

Cant tell from the picture but are you sure it isn't a boat being used in the construction/demolition of the bridge?

Who knows. The person I talked to that saw it this weekend said it looked old and beat up. Under the bridge they have a big Floating platform so I'm not sure if they need a boat, but who knows

Its gotta be for the building of the bridge. It was hanging off a crane on a week ago Monday evening when we were in town.

It's for the construction guys. It has a frame built all the way around it for them to be able to hook the crane to it and it's been in the air for over a week. If it was something they found it would have been discarded off to the side but they are protecting their assets by keeping this hooked up and away from vandals.

How does a rumor like this start? When I saw that it never crossed my mind that they could have pulled it out of the river

Person told me it was pulled from river. Sounds like a few had different stories. I didn't get a chance to see for myself.

Well it was pulled from the river just that it belonged to the bridge crew and ''they'' pulled it from the river.

From KMOT news. Here is way the boat is hanging from the crane. Beings they are working on a bridge over water the boat is hanging from the crane for safety purposes. In case someone falls into the river they have quick access to the boat.
