Malacca Gin is back just in time for summer

if anyone is a fan of gin or tonic/gin I just found out that Tanqueray's Malacca is back in production and available at Happy Harry's

the wife and I fell head over heels for it well over a decade ago - and they quit making it less than a year into our ginny love affair

I haven't tasted it yet (galwhofishes just texted me the good news) but I am hoping its as good as we remember

pretty sure they changed the formula

Malacca has much less juniper berry blast than London dry style

more exotic botanicals, citrus, “jungle”... a little less kapow

a little pricier than standard Tanqueray

Imo nothing beats tanqueray ten. But the price sucks.

Personally i like gin because of the Juniper punch (Tanqueray), IMO a lot of these other gins get to damn fancy and it starts to taste like perfume. Having said that, the Hendricks above is pretty damn good for those who like a little less juniper.

I have replaced my summer drink of choice from Tanqueray tonics to Cucumber vodka over ice and water with a twist of lime. Effen
