[QUOTE="Petras, post: 463617, member: 216"] Welp, Sam made it home to our place on Friday night. Needless to say, he's a good boy. Super friendly, sometimes a lil too friendly. He humps EVERYTHING. Literally 5 minutes after picking him up and heading down the road he had the floor mat of the crate balled up and was going to town on it.... Luckily our two girl dogs at home are fixed so no worries there. Got an appointment with the groomer for tomorrow to get him all brushed up and bathed. I did sit and brush him for about 30 minutes on saturday morning. As soon as he saw the brush he came and sat right in front of me like he knew the drill. Got enough hair off him to make a couple more Golden Retreivers! I have some video that I'll get posted up when I get a chance. My Lab and Boxer love him. From the minute we let them out to play with him it's like they were old pals. Once we have had him groomed we will be letting him come in the house. Right now he hangs out in the garage. Going to get an appointment for him to get fixed as well. Don't know if he has much for hunting instincts, but I'll find out this fall. He definitely loves to be around his people..... And the girl dogs.... he reeeeeaaaallllly likes the girl dogs..... Sam is going to spend the rest of his days here at our place as a bit of a hybrid inside/outside dog. He will for the most part be outside, helping to protect our chickens. He will have full time access to our heated garage, and if I know my wife at all, once he is fixed and gets all his humping outta the way, he'll probably end up being an 80# lapdog in the house.... I'll be sure to put up some more pics and videos when I get a chance. Don't mind the mess in the pictures, our house is still a work in progress!
