Jail, treatment and Probation... rinse and repeat. Best remedy. A minimum of 90 days forced sobriety followed by treatment and then supervision seem to be the minimum to curb hard-core addiction. And often times, more than once. Even then it's not a sure thing. Sadly.

Yes but when the feds get involved they usually like to make those kind of pepes examples of why you don't want to delete safety equipment. Same thing that happened to diesel mechanics who removed or by passed the def systems.
Also onstar requires a yearly subscription to maintain the features like kill switches, that those vehicles are equipped with. The federal mandated kill switches for 2026 models will be all vehicles made in the US.
