Well, walk of about 15 with me and another vet who brought his restore 195? Ford 100 which we put the flags on. Half of the group was my family. About 6 blocks of walk with police in front. So even with only one to me it was a success. Been 55 years for me so it is time to put it to rest. One N Guard did tell me the next day to forget it as nobody cares. Told me not to bring it up anymore. Just don't mean nothing.

That the same thing I was told to me the day i came home at the local pup in 1970. It has not changed for some.

But he is wrong as there are many who care and as i have found reasons for me to have serve. doing what i was trained to do, it is all good. We all had our reason. It is just some gave their life and others have problems adjusting. God bless all the soldiers who die over there and others including a number of innocent women and children who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And we keep repeating what we should of learn years ago. db
