Something that big you'd be better off with quarts or it would take you forever. That's a lot of pint jars.
Casting into the darkness of night.....Can you imagine: Being in a boat most of the day; the sun comes out for a few hours; you finish the beer and Vienna Sausages; the sun begins to set: You have a minor sunburn and begin to get cold; in the cooler remains one bottle of water and a Pepsi: Arms weary and ears sick of clanging spinner blades; you vow "one more cast": You're dejected BAM
Didn't read the article: I hope it wasn't caught trolling for the sake of the Earth and Climate.
That is all.
Yep. You get it. One of the few.Casting into the darkness of night.....
Yup... early 90's top water creepers and tally whackers, working day time follows between 12and 5am 12 skis boated, hybrid lake nothing over 40's but what a rush in pitch blackYep. You get it. One of the few.
^^^^I read in OL or FS in the "80s or 90s": "The fish of a thousand casts can be the fish of EVERY cast at night".
Amazon productThe way technology is making leaps and bounds there should be a camera feature with a laser tape measure and a rangefinder , or some jazz where you can see a laser tape measure .
I'm thinking we got weights in fish. Seriously though, how do you prove he caught it on 6 lb line? Is it feasible he had another rod with and just said he caught it on the Snoopy pole? From the article:
"This includes a 283-plus-pound alligator gar he caught in Texas, which is likely the heaviest freshwater fish ever landed on 6-pound test."
That's incredible!
I wonder if he was able to video record the catch to have real evidence of this catch on 6 pound test, it's possible especially if he was able to use the boat as a aid to keep the monster from running out lots of line.I'm thinking we got weights in fish. I'm sure it's possible, but what a miracle if he did. The teeth on those monsters and the thrashing/runs they can make are insaneI wonder if he was able to video record the catch to have real evidence of this catch on 6 pound test, it's possible especially if he was able to use the boat as a aid to keep the monster from running out lots of line.
Yep I agree that's why if you have a good boat operator but if he reeled that monster with 6 pound mono instead of braid on those long runs, then you have every right to be questioning the facts.I'm sure it's possible, but what a miracle if he did.
