Ive lived and hunted moose in alaska,shot two dandies the years i was there with a inside spread low 50"s but this jurassic park monster!

When your 10 to 12 ft behind the rack it's going to be big.

Actually the alaskan moose species (largest in the world) "alces gigas" stand 6 to 7' tall 8+'long,i never seen paddles like that ever and i scoped many giants in my day.

Saw picture somewhere on web of new record moose just wow. I have shoot many in NW territories and Alaska and Canada with dad moons ago that one is pig, no bad words from me like others damn nice.

Recent years we have "shira moose" species,big bodies but not much upstairs on bulls.

but still respectful critters
